Happy New Year! Wishing you and your loved ones a healthy and fabulous year ahead!
Every year, I return home to visit my family in Japan during the winter holidays. But for the first time, I spent this past Christmas and New Years Day in sunny Los Angeles! Although this past week it has rained a lot, but that is a good thing as California annually suffers from droughts.
In mid-2022, I moved back to the US from Japan as the situation stabilized, and have been actively performing, recording and teaching ever since! At the end of 2022, I digitally released a new single, Nicolai Kapustin’s Saxophone Concerto with pianist, Anton Smirnov. Please enjoy!

2023 will be an exciting year! Chika & Scott will return for more concerts and recordings. I also have been part of a Saxophone-Cello-Piano trio with Ovanes Arakelyan and Maksim Velichkin, playing Armenian music. I have been transcribing music for the ensemble. More sheet music of my arrangements will be published. I also look forward to producing more video content on my YouTube channel.
